Hyoscyamine Recall

Colombo Law has recently been retained to represent a client who was prescribed a super-potent prescription of Hyoscyamine Sulfate due to a manufacturing error by the pharmaceutical manufacturer. Because of the defect in the drug the client experienced stroke like symptoms, seizures, and is now required to take long term anti-seizure medication.

Vertus Pharmaceuticals contracted with Pharmatech LLC to manufacturer this drug. Vertus Pharmaceutical has admitted that certain batches of this drug were defective and can cause stroke like symptoms, confusion, dizziness, imbalance, disorientation, and seizures.
