This is one of the most tragic cases that Colombo Law has ever worked on. This young wife and mother of two went to see her health care provider for a general complaint of neck pain. The health care provider performed an aggressive and unnecessary procedure and the patient immediately had a stroke and died. The family and the community were devastated. To see the look in the husband’s eyes as he was describing his family’s is something that we will never forget. The details of the settlement are confidential but the healthcare provider’s insurance policy limits were exhausted.
