The lawyers of Colombo Law obtained a record setting settlement in a medical malpractice case against West Virginia University Hospital involving the brain injury of a young girl. The settlement of $6 million is the largest settlement ever paid in the history of West Virginia University Hospital. An additional settlement of almost $500,000 was obtained in this same case against this young girl’s attending physicians. The total settlement was over $6,000,000.
