Colombo Law recently settled a case for $23,000,000.00 for a lady who was struck in the head by a large rock that fell from a truck. The truck was overloaded by a local rock quarry and the rock quarry allowed the truck to leave un-tarped with the load unsecured. Our client was going the opposite direction on a 2 lane road when the rock fell from the truck, crashed through her windshield, and struck her in the head. Our client had a serious traumatic brain injury (TBI). The TBI is a permanent condition and she will need someone to assist her for the rest of her life.
This settlement will help to take care of her and provide for her needs. Colombo Law was proud to represent this family.
